Several years back, like eight years to be exact, I started experiencing numbness and tingling in my thumb (of all places). It quickly progressed into my hand and forearm and before I knew it I had it in the other hand as well.
In my profession I use my hands a lot, including a lot of turning and manipulation of the wrist movement. Pain quickly set in – I was up and down all hours of the night trying to shake and stretch out, the numbness and tingling feeling of pins and needles throughout my hands and forearm; then I would alternate hot and cold presses on my forearms to help with the pain.
